Thursday
Today we have computers booked.
Block C/G
- improve the group work for New Boy - put a copy of your group's work into your personal OneNote folder. Title it New Boy
Block B/F
- complete the group work on New Boy - put a copy of your group's work in your personal OneNote folder - 15 minutes
- complete the group work on Sugar Girl - create a page called in your OneNote folder - copy and paste all the pages into one document called Sugar Girl in your personal folder - 15 minutes

- work on your journals for your novel

How does the world around us shape our sense of who we are and what we value and believe in?
How does family affect/influence identity?
How do life experiences affect/influence identity?
How do social connections affect/influence identity?
How does culture affect/influence identity?
How do our morals/values affect/influence identity?



Wednesday
Finish your novel by the middle of next week.

How does culture affect identity:  The Legend of Sugar Girl.
Look at the form answers for Rock Bottom
Block B/F - time to finish New Boy discussion.
Block C/G - you need to go back an look over your work on New Boy




Tuesday

Today is National Better Breakfast Day

I will be asking some of you to come in a lunch time this week to get caught up on late work.

Today we will spend a few minutes reflecting on the stories you have read so far and discussing how they fit with the "identity" of a short story.
Look at the form for Rock Bottom
Next, we will look at the question, How does culture shape identity and read the story, Legend of the Sugar Girl.

Monday
I was away, but you had the choice to read or view "New Boy". To show your understanding of the identity question, How is identity shaped by social connections, you are to place the answers to the Fact and Interpretation questions into OneNote, in your personal folder.
